How we work

A cornerstone of our culture is in-person collaboration, and we are committed to maintaining our values. We adopted the hub model to facilitate hybrid working and ensure growth, flexibility, increased agility, and team cohesion. 

We provide unique hubs in Amsterdam, London, and New York, where we regularly collaborate face-to-face, hold meetings, onboard customers and colleagues, hold design sessions, and host events. 

We are held to exceptionally high compliance standards as a financially regulated company. These responsibilities demand a rigorous approach to collaboration, security, and decision-making. However, there are no explicitly mandatory office days, as we allow our teams to work from home or other locations that enable them to do their best work.

Our hub model is successful because it enables us to connect and maintain the Katanox culture. Investing more time together improves our connection and collaboration. This is why we do not hire for strictly remote roles.

When something's not working, we own it and ensure its resolution. When there's an opportunity or a problem, you should own it and see it through.

Although we are direct, we are polite and communicate constructively and directly. We are straightforward without sugarcoating our message. 

In person first, call second

Face-to-face interactions tend to solve issues and move the needle quicker. If you can't be in the same physical space, hop on a call.

Build collaboratively

Collectively, we’re stronger than our individual parts. We value collaborating in person to find unique solutions to complex problems. 

Iterate fast and pragmatically

We believe in moving quickly without compromising on quality. Speed is a key differentiator, but only when met with value-adding creation.
