Katanox is looking for a Sales leader to lead our global commercial efforts, with a focus on bringing in Demand side partners (eg. neobanks, Travel Management Companies, and expense platforms). In this role you will lead by example, build a team from the ground up, deliver on ambitious targets, and roll your sleeves up to work directly with customers - you will need to hit the ground running.

We are looking for an autonomous leader and networker who has demonstrated success dealing with ambiguity, operating in a high-growth environment, building high-performing teams and solving problems with limited oversight. Ideal candidates have a strong entrepreneurial mindset, and have first-class analytical, communication and relationship-building skills.

About the role

  • Be accountable for increasing revenue and new client acquisition at high rates of growth.

  • Work collaboratively and cross-functionally across the organisation to help shape Katanox products and solutions to meet customer needs.

  • Recruit, build and lead a team of new business sales professionals.

  • Coach and guide the team in developing consultative and solution-based sales skills through all facets of the sales cycle.

  • Develop the long-term vision and strategy for the team and manage day-to-day operations, with a focus on performance against key sales metrics.

  • Be involved in the largest, most strategic deals, managing executive relationships and helping the team get the deal over the finish line.

  • Participate in industry events to help drive positive market awareness.

About you

  • 5+ years of sales experience.

  • Demonstrated experience leading sales in a high-growth technology environment.

  • Ability to hire, train and coach a high-performance sales team.

  • Demonstrated passion for helping to scale new technology businesses.

  • Build strategic, executive relationships with customers and industry thought leaders.

  • Experience with transactional volume based (as opposed to SaaS/seat-based) commercial models.

  • Ability to understand and articulate technical concepts, and translate them into industry- or business-relevant terms.

What would help

  • Background at a growth stage technology company.

  • Marketplace experience, preferably B2B.

  • Experience in travel technology, preferably in hospitality & payments.

  • Prior experience with Booking Affiliate Partner program or Expedia Partner Solutions.
