Senior Front-End Engineer

At Katanox we're looking for a Senior Front-End Engineer to join our team.

Full-time · Amsterdam

We are a B2B SaaS marketplace for travel buyers and accommodation suppliers. We have created one platform that offers two-way connectivity, direct partnership contracting and a proprietary fintech stack and yes, we reinvented how hospitality distribution is done.

We are remote/hybrid and have team members based across the Netherlands, UK, Turkey, France and Spain. We would love for you to join us in the Netherlands.

Day to day accountabilities

You will be expected to:

  • Deliver maintainable and performant code
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to ship product features quickly
  • Collaborate with Product team in technical investigations
  • Deploy code to production, monitor and solve any problems. In other words, own your code
  • Mentor, share knowledge and best practices to enable growth of junior engineers
  • Evolve current product and build new product modules, solutions and features
  • Communicate effectively with your teammates and propose solutions to various challenges

About you

  • Extensive experience with Javascript, Typescript and React
  • Experience with HTML5, CSS3

  • High sense of quality code and community best practices

  • Ability to test your code

  • Familiarity with modern continuous integration / continuous delivery practices

  • Working on B2B marketplace products is a plus
  • Fluency in English
