This role is based in the Netherlands. We do not have mandatory office days, but we do have a beautiful hub in Leidseplein, Amsterdam which we meet at times to collaborate on new features, big releases and brainstorms.
You will:
You will be expected to:
Architect new solutions and deliver maintainable and performant code.
Collaborate with your teammates to ship product features quickly and propose solutions to various challenges.
Collaborate with the Product and Engineering team in technical investigations.
Deploy code to production, monitor and solve any problems. In other words, own your code.
Mentor, share knowledge and best practices to enable growth of junior engineers
Evolve current product and build new product modules, solutions and features
You have at least 5 years of overall programming experience and 2 years of experience with a JVM language, preferably Kotlin or Java.
You have experience with design, development, testing, and monitoring of software.
You are able to write well defined unit/integration tests.
You have high sense of quality code and community best practices.
You understand data structures, algorithms and software design.
Fluency in English
Knowledge of Spring Boot, either Gradle or Maven
Knowledge of any database querying tool
Experience of working with AWS
Working on B2B marketplace products
