As Product Manager, Payments you will be responsible for our payments product. This requires a lot of creative thinking when it comes to offering a payments product (pay-in & pay-out) that suits all three parties in the marketplace. You will also need to understand how the different partners use specific tools to reconcile their sales. Finally, hospitality trading has a unique set of challenges when it comes to supporting payments from partners located all over the world, you will help us overcome these challenges.


About what you will be doing

  1. Be an expert in the field of payments. Be on top of innovations in the payment world (think about new products by card schemes, acquirers & SWIFT), and act on it.
  2. Careful considerations of both functional and technical trade-offs.
  3. Manage the creation of refined user stories in collaboration with the engineering team.
  4. Help build out our accounting framework, where we make sure that all the funds are allocated to the right bank accounts.
  5. Set, monitor and use performance indicators to ensure that every payment, or payout delivers its purpose.

About you

  1. 2+ years of experience as a (payments) Product Manager of an engineering team.

  2. Skilled in the art of decision making.
  3. Natural communicator.
  4. You enjoy working in the payments world. Thinking about how you can help build a state-of-the art payments platform.
  5. Passion for engineering excellence through automation, continuous delivery and deployment.
  6. Knowledge of and experience in working in SCRUM.
  7. Fluent in English.

What would help

  1. Payments experience.
  2. Background in either backend or frontend engineering.
  3. Marketplace experience, preferably B2B.
  4. Experience in travel technology, preferably in hospitality.
